We require this for security reasons and to inform the Stadium Security
prior to the event with our list of collectors.

The event is the "British Speedway Grand Prix" with a crowd of approx -

50,000 spectators expected.

There are six entrances we have been advised to have at least (10 to 15)

collectors per gate so we need 60-90 people for about two and a half hours.

From soon after 4.00pm to allow time for registration and getting to the gate - till 7.00pm approx

(NB - there is no collection at the end of the event).

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS.

We have to comply with the Millennium Stadium regulations and the event organisers to be able to hold the collection and to make the collection a success for Trust PA.

1. We will meet at: Cardiff Blues Opposite: The ANGEL HOTEL Westgate Street (adjacent to the green security porta-cabin) where Gerri & Rob will be available with Buckets, authorisation badges etc. for you to collect and sign in. 

NB. If you have a Trust PA polo shirt/cap or similar, please wear it.

2. We are only allowed to have one car parking space, (secure in the car park out of view).

3. We will select 6 - Gate Captains who will each be allocated to a specific Gate Number/location.

Gate Captains to please check; that the people on their gate are spread out alternately on either side of the pedestrian route between the road access and the stadium GATE Turnstiles (ideally at the turnstile end).

4. Bucket collectors - return your filled buckets plus badges, to GATE 4 at the end of the collection please (the same applies if you have to leave early).

NB. If you DO have to leave early - please let your Gate Captain know you are leaving.

5. A Tip to increase your collection and so that people understand why we are collecting –
please call out something like -  “HELP US TO END PARALYSIS”  this should be a good natured
informative broadcast and in no way aggressive, annoying or intrusive.                                                    

6. At the end of the collection (the start of the speedway event 7.00pm) from a personal security & safety point of view, we would prefer all collectors and team leaders to return together (or at least in pairs) to Cardiff Blues Opposite: The ANGEL HOTEL Westgate Street please.

7. At Cardiff Blues Opposite: The ANGEL HOTEL Westgate Street check in your collection bucket & badge  - please be patient -

[NB. we will not have time to count each bucket of money on the night but will bag your collection with your name badge for later counting].

8. Gate Captains will be allocated with security access passes and we would appreciate some further help at the end of the event from a couple of gate captains to clear away.

We know it will be good fun and very worthwhile, the weather is going to be excellent!!!
